Who is at risk of gum diseases

Several factors increase the risk of developing gum diseases, the most common of which include smoking, tobacco chewing, systemic illnesses like diabetes, hormonal changes during pregnancy and menstruation, medications such as contraceptives and anticonvulsants and ill-fitting prosthesis.
